Ramya's story

From Chennai to Belgium, From corporate to coaching

Founder of MyBloomhaus · Co-founder of Midbloom · ICF ACC certified coach

I grew up in Chennai, India, in an environment that offered limited options for women. Breaking free from that took years, but it shaped everything I do today.

I moved to Belgium, and over the next 21 years I built a career in management roles in corporate and business.

"I know what it feels like to work hard and still feel invisible. To perform perfectly on the outside while quietly wondering if you are in the right place. To hold everything together and ask yourself: does anyone even care about me?"

In Midbloom, I bring the mind and the career: clarity, calm and the conversations that help you keep leading.

Why coaching

I became a coach because I believe there is another way. You do not need to be aggressive, competitive or relentless to build a successful career and a fulfilling life. I am living proof of that, and I help others prove it too.

I trained with Erickson Coaching International and hold my ICF ACC certification. I am also certified in NLP and Timeline Therapy, tools I use to help clients shift deeply held beliefs.

"My deepest wish is to show that a good life and a good career can grow from the same place: generosity, self-belief, and the quiet confidence to stop performing and start becoming."

Today I work with women over 40 who hold it all together: a career, a family, and a body that is changing. I help them find their confidence, clarity and calm again, without losing themselves along the way. That is why I co-founded Midbloom with Aniko.

Beyond work

I am a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. My family is my anchor. I love being with people, and creating a sisterhood gives me energy. I find peace in nature, love to travel and explore new cultures, and enjoy experimenting with healthy cooking. I speak English, Dutch, Tamil, Telugu and French.

From corporate to wellbeing, From my own change to helping others

Co-founder of Midbloom · Menopause and fitness expert · Mother of three

For nearly 20 years, I worked in corporate and business, in an international environment. Structure, responsibility, constant demands. I learned how to organise, adapt and keep moving forward.

Then I became a mother of three, and my priorities changed. I began changing my own lifestyle. What started as a personal journey grew into a business. Today I work as a fitness instructor, helping women on their own path to change.

"I know how easily your own needs slip to the bottom of the list when you are balancing work, children and everything that keeps a family going."

My body changed. So I learned again.

Just as I found my rhythm, perimenopause arrived. My body was changing, and the routines I had built no longer worked the way they used to. So I studied women's nutrition, hormonal health and the menopause transition, alongside my training as a fitness instructor.

Today I work with women over 40 who carry work, family and a changing body at the same time. Together we build habits that last, around movement, nutrition and everyday wellbeing.

"My wish is for women to understand their bodies, trust themselves and feel that their wellbeing deserves a place in their own lives."

In Midbloom

I bring the body: movement, nutrition, sleep and energy. Ramya brings the mind and the career. Together we help women reclaim their energy, their calm and their true selves.

Beyond work

Family is at the heart of my life. Movement, dance and creativity bring me joy, and so does bringing women together to learn, laugh and support one another. I am based in Hungary.

16+ years in product. Apparently I was just getting started.

Founder, Villain’s Hat · Fractional Marketing & Podcast Host, Midbloom · 16+ years in product and UX

I’ve spent more than 16 years working across product and UX, helping teams understand people, shape ideas and make better product decisions.

Midbloom is very different from the work I usually do, but I love what it is trying to create: something for women over 40 who are still ambitious, still building, still figuring things out while their bodies and lives may be changing at the same time.

I live by this quote"Success by design is infinitely better than a win by chance."Om Swami, in his book The Last Gambit

At Midbloom, I’m helping shape the early marketing and building Bloomin’ Hustler, our podcast about the messy intersection of work, ambition, life and everything women are navigating after 40.

My work today

Today, most of my time goes into building Villain’s Hat, a misuse-audit product that helps teams investigate how people could misuse a product or feature before they build it.

After more than 16 years in product and UX, I’ve worked across India, New Zealand, Ireland and Serbia, with clients and users all over the world. I thrive on building POCs, figuring out how to make the company some dough, and caring just as much about the people using what we build.

Over time, I’ve become increasingly interested in the psychology behind how we make people behave versus what they actually do. And I am bringing some of that thinking into Midbloom. Different problem, completely different audience, but the same instinct: understand the person properly before deciding what she needs.

Why Midbloom

I like that Midbloom isn’t asking women over 40 to quietly shrink their lives.

This stage can include career changes, ambition, relationships, family responsibilities, menopause, starting again, building something new. Sometimes several of those things at once.

What interests me is helping build something that acknowledges that complexity rather than reducing women to one label or one stage of life.

Beyond work

Outside work, my life is a mixture of family, far too many ideas, my dog Pari, podcasts, travelling, and inevitably turning completely normal conversations into questions about why people behave the way they do.

What we stand for

Four promises we make to every woman.

Honest, with kindnessWe say the true thing, gently. Real growth starts where comfortable stories end.
The whole womanBody, mind and career, in one conversation. We never work on one and forget the others.
Choose yourselfYour needs belong on the list, not at the bottom of it.
Small steps, real changeLasting change grows from realistic steps, done consistently, with support.
